Confidentiality

Through this service, improper conduct or irregularities may be reported without fear of reprisal, as we offer whistleblowers the peace of mind to report any wrongdoing or malpractices in the workplace.

Transparency

When you reach out to us to raise a concern and/or complaint, you would be required to identify yourself. However, we will make every reasonable effort to keep your identity secret whilst conducting a thorough and fair investigation as may be required under the law. To assist us in maintaining confidentiality, however, it is imperative that you also practice discretion and refrain from discussing your consultations with your colleagues or fellow co-workers.

We do not encourage employees to make disclosures anonymously. Proper investigation may be more difficult or impossible if we cannot obtain further information from you. It is also more difficult to establish whether any allegations made are credible. If you are concerned about possible reprisals should your identity be revealed, you have our assurance that proper and appropriate measures will be taken to preserve confidentiality.

Confidentiality

Our Promise

We take confidentiality very seriously and work independently in the interest of truth

Evaluation

We will make every effort to keep your identity secret throughout the entire process and will discuss this with you if necessary

LEGAL

We will also discuss with you if a situation arises that we are compelled by law to reveal your identity

Protection For Whistleblowers

Whistleblowers who raise concerns and/or complaints are helping companies to correct problems before they grow. Companies should not tolerate retaliation against any employee for raising business practice issues in good faith.

Raising concerns in “good faith” means that you have made a genuine attempt, to provide honest and accurate information, even if you are later proven to be mistaken. The fact that an employee has raised concerns in good faith, or has provided information in an investigation, cannot be a basis for denial of benefits, termination, demotion, suspension, threats, harassment or discrimination.  This is why a thorough and fair investigation and assessment by an independent 3rd party like us is critical to this process.

Similarly, employees who work with those who raise concerns should continue to treat them in a courteous and respectful manner and should not engage in behaviour that might alienate or intimidate colleagues.

This protection extends to anyone giving information in relation to an investigation. If you or others have been retaliated against, let us know and we will help ensure that justice is served.
